How to value listed shares for probate

How can i value shares for inheritance tax purposes. Can someone help. im willing to pay for the advice.

    You have two options to value shares (if quoted) and you normally take the lower of the two options below:

    1. Average price = (lowest price of the day + highest price of the day) /2

    2. Quarter up = 1/4+(bid-offer price)

    The lower of the two is the price of the shares
